We are both passionate and knowledgeable about the wonderful world of wine.

Heather Dougherty has been in the wine trade for the past nine years and holds the WSET Diploma in Wine and Spirits, a widely-respected wine qualification. Heather is a member of the Association of Wine Educators and the Circle of Wine Writers and, along with Heather Aitken, writes a regular wine column in the Surrey Advertiser newspaper and other publications.  Copies of these articles can be found on the Liquid Assets blog.  She is also a judge at the International Wine Challenge, "the Oscars of the wine world".

Also holding WSET qualifications, Heather Aitken first appeared in the Good Wine Guide in 1977 and has owned a string of wine bars and delis in London.  She succumbed to the lure of the sun, but is now back and returned to her vinous roots.
